After the remarkable success of Pixel's tour in India, we are thrilled to present a new and exciting transmission project featuring the French production "Cartes Blanches" by the renowned choreographer Mourad Merzouki. This project, co-produced by Prakriti Foundation and the French Institute in India, began in 2023 with auditions held in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Delhi. From these auditions, six extraordinary Indian dancers were selected for their exceptional talent and dedication. They have since been rigorously rehearsing to bring this remarkable production to life under the expert guidance of Mourad Merzouki.
The show premiered September 7th, 2024, and was a mesmerizing showcase of cross-cultural artistic brilliance, showcasing the best of French and Indian dance talent. 🌍💃🕺
We are excited to bring the show to Kolkata for the tour's first leg.
