In this 3 hour course, you will get to learn about child passenger safety in the state of Minnesota and practice with hands-on examples.
About this Event

Prior to transporting children under the age eight (8), you must satisfactorily complete at least a 3-hour training on the proper use and installation of child restraint systems. This training must be provided by instructors certified and approved by the Department of Public Safety - Office of Traffic Safety and be repeated every five (5) years. Class does not need to be taken in the county in which you are licensed. The three hour child passenger safety training curriculum is approved by the Minnesota Office of Traffic Safety.


Prior to attending this course, all participants must create an account with DevelopToolMN. Participants will be assigned an Individual ID by DevelopToolMN and should bring this ID number to class. Those who do not create an account and bring their ID number to class will not be eligible to receive a certificate of completion.
