The Friends of Albany Rural Cemetery will host the third annual CARS & CRYPTS vintage car show at the Rural Cemetery’s Cypress Pond from 1 to 5 pm on June 8th (rain date is June 9th).This year’s event will include even more classic cars on display. Attendees will be able to vote for their favorite vehicles in various categories, including Best In Show.
This family-friendly event includes music, food, merchandise, raffles and kid friendly activities. Guided tours are $10 per person and will be offered every half hour from 1:30PM to 3:30PM. A few for the family vaults will be open for you to see the beauty that hides inside these structures.
Admission is free. Attendees are asked to please use the South Gate on Route 378 opposite Van Rensselaer Boulevard.
Car owners can pre-register online and there is a free gift for the first 100. Registration is $15 per vehicle and may be done at: https://friendsofthealbanyruralcemeter.ticketspice.com/cars-and-crypts
The event is a fundraiser hosted by The Friends of Albany Rural Cemetery to support and preserve this historic landmark.
