We are Racing to raise money for dogs deemed “unadoptable” due to a dog overpopulation crisis in the DFW area. But what is this Rallycross of which we speak? and why do we think it’s the best fun you can have driving pretty much any road car?
RallyCross is the perfect place to see if you have what it takes to slide your way sideways to victory. RallyCross is a scaled down version of stage rally racing laid out on unpaved land where the course is delineated by traffic cones and plastic pylons instead of trees and rocks. With only 1 or 2 cars on the track at a time you don’t need to worry about passing, or being passed by other cars. Top speeds are about 50 MPH.
The entry fees and equipment requirements are considerably less than those necessary to enter other forms of racing. We are happy to assist first-time competitors with getting started in this great sport.
Cars are divided into three classes: rear wheel drive, front wheel drive, and all wheel drive.
