Description: Make this fun crossbody bag with 2 outside zip pockets and one inside pocket. Learn to make a decorative braid accent using the Mini Braid Template. The technique can be used to make other “Braid” Projects. There are many options for fabric choices to create your own unique piece. Finished size 7 ½” X 9 ½” X 2 ½”.
Supplies:

Mini Braid Template by Kate Colleran Designs, LLC
½ yard Main Focus fabric (A) (Outside bag back, side panels, pocket zipper accents and handle)
¼ yard Accent fabric (B) (Outside Pocket, Inside pocket, Braid Accent strips)
3/8 yd Outside Pocket Linings fabric (C)
3/8 yd Inside Bag Fabric (D)
1 ½ “ x 20” strips of 4-6 coordinating fabrics for braid
3/8 yd of 40” wide Heavyweight Fusible Interfacing
7/8 yd Shapeflex Lightweight Fusible Interfacing
(2) 12” Zippers
(1) 7” or 9” Zipper
(1) hardware set of (2) 1” rectangle rings and (1) 1” slider
Tools:
Matching Thread & Bobbin for Top Stitching
1/4 “ Sewing Machine Foot & Zipper Foot
Jeans Needle 90/14
Pins or Clips
Sewing supplies (Sewing machine with cord/pedal, seam ripper, scissors, marking pen or chalk pencil, rotary cutter, mat, ruler)
It will be helpful if you can have all pieces precut and labeled per label sheet to assist in completing your project. You may request this sheet upon class payment.
You may also fuse both fusibles to appropriate pieces per labels except the braid section Interfacing.
This will help you to be able to complete the bag in the class
