Course Details:
Summary: This two-day course satisfies the requirements for your Wear and Carry permit (16 hours).
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Day 1 - Classroom Day (8 Hours)
- Situational Awareness and Defensive Mindset
- MD State Firearm and Use of Force Laws
- Aftermath of Violent Encounters
- Handgun Mechanism and Operation
- Ammunition and Loading
- Shooting Fundamentals
What to Bring:
- Yourself and a photo ID.
Day 2 - Range Day (8 Hours)
What to Bring:
- Handgun: Bring the firearm you plan to carry post-course, or rent one for $18 (ammunition must be purchased on-site).
- 25 Rounds of Ammunition: Available for sale at the range desk. (No steel ammo allowed if bringing your own handgun.)
- Eye and Ear Protection: Provided if needed.
- Holster: Bring one for the firearm you'll use if you have one.
Important: Classes start promptly. Late arrivals (over 10 minutes) will need to reschedule.

- NRA Certified Instructor: Pistol, Concealed Carry, Shotgun
- TASER Certified Civilian Instructor
- Registered MD Instructor: HQL/Wear & Carry
