About this Event
Carroll County 4-H Residential Summer Camp – Week 1 (Ages 8-11)
June 23-26, 2025 | Camp Hashawha, Westminster, MD
Give your child an unforgettable summer adventure at Carroll County 4-H Camp, where friendships are made, new skills are learned, and outdoor fun is endless. Held at the scenic Camp Hashawha, our residential camp provides a welcoming and engaging environment for young campers to explore, grow, and thrive.
At 4-H Camp, kids unplug from screens and connect with nature, all while building confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills. Campers are grouped into small “families” for the week, fostering a sense of belonging and teamwork. Each day is packed with exciting activities, including:
- Outdoor Exploration – Hiking, nature time, and hands-on environmental learning
- Adventure & Recreation – Archery, large group games, and daily pool time (weather permitting)
- Creativity & Skill Building – Crafts, educational classes, and outdoor cookery
- Evening Traditions – Campfire nights with songs, skits, and cheers
A Safe & Supportive Environment
Campers stay in modern cabins equipped with restrooms and showers, and all meals are served family-style by the Hashawha kitchen, accommodating dietary needs. Our experienced staff includes trained teen leaders and adult volunteers, each completing 30 hours of training to ensure a safe and enriching experience. Carroll County 4-H Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association, meeting the highest standards in safety and programming.
Spaces are limited—reserve your child’s spot today for a week of adventure, discovery, and lifelong memories!
