About CARRIE: High school can be tough, especially if you are Carrie White. Based upon Stephen King’s blockbuster 1974 debut novel Carrie and the classic 1976 film adaption, Carrie: The Musical follows a teenage outcast who longs to fit in. At school, she’s bullied by the popular crowd, and virtually invisible to everyone else. At home, she’s dominated by her loving but cruelly-controlling mother. What none of them know is that Carrie has just discovered she has a special power — and if pushed too far, she’s not afraid to use it.

The Paramount Theatre is located at 24 Court Street South, Thunder Bay, Ontario. The Paramount Theatre is heritage property and the stage itself is located on the second floor of the building with sets of stairs for patron access to their seats.
