Hailing from the great free state of Kansas; Carrie Nation & The Speakeasy is a high-energy blend of brass, folk, and punk with an emphasis on, songwriting and live shows. Blazing mandolin and trumpet solos careen over churning drums, acoustic guitar, and .standup bass, while gravelly vocals deliver thought provoking lyrics. Established in 2007, CNS has proven a dedication to both entertainment and improvisation through their unique live shows that flow in and out of a variety of tempos and sonic feels. Over the past 15 years, CNS has performed their eclectic brand of "brass n grass" to thrilled (and sometimes confused) crowds at fests, clubs, and basements in 49• states and 8 countries. The band, who has been described as "…a stagecoach in overdrive" has released 3 LPs and 2 EPs with their newest effort, LOGOS, slated for release in the summer of '22.
