CARRIE BROCKWELL on Shockoe Sessions Live!

Carrie Brockwell got her start early, performing in musical theatre shows in the Richmond, Virginia area – most notably the title role in the mainstage production of “Annie” at age 11. In November of 2021, Carrie independently released her first EP “Impressions”, receiving song placement on several national podcasts and also earned “EP of the Year” from the Josie Music Association. Carrie’s in-person 2022 American Idol audition in Austin, Texas for Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie impressed the judges enough to award Carrie a ‘Golden Ticket’ to Hollywood. In October of 2022 Carrie made her Nashville debut performing at JMA Fest and recently played in the Grand Ole Opry House (studio A) for the Josie Music Awards. In October of 2023 Carrie independently released her second EP titled “Dear Nashville” which is currently nominated for Album of The Year by the Josie Music Association. Carrie has released five single’s which will be included on her upcoming LP to be released in the fall of 2024.
Carrie recently performed on WSM 650 AM, the radio home of the Grand Ole Opry and her latest single “Not Your Forever Home” was featured by the Grand Ole Opry’s “Whiskey Riff” media outlet. Recently Carrie announced she has received six nominations from the Josie Music Association including Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Artist of the Year. In the fall of 2024 Carrie plans to attend the Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Carrie is currently under an artist development deal with Nashville-based PCG Worldwide and distributes her music through PCG Records and Symphonic.
