W.A.R. 2024 CARRERA THURSDAY CHAMPIONSHIP 🏁Announcing the full racing calendar for Season 1 of the Carrera Thursday Championship at the home of Adelaide slot car racing, W.A.R. at Pooraka! 🏎🏆
Season 2 will commence in October after the end of Season 1.
• 10 races every Thursday at 7pm
• The track will be reserved for practice from 12 noon each Thursday
• $10 entry fee (includes UNLIMITED track time on the race day)
• Standard Carrera cars ONLY (excluding F1 and Formula E cars) using MJK tyres ONLY at the rear
• All cars MUST use the standard guide, gear, axles, motor, wheels and full interior etc
• The original motor lead wires and light system can be replaced with motor lead wires from any manufacturer
• Weight can be added to the top of the chassis
• Points awarded every round to the drivers attending with 10 points for first, 6 points for second, 4, 3, 2, 1 etc
• 4 x 3 minute heats
• Great prizes for the top three podium-finishers at the end of the Championship 🥇🥈🥉
1st place - $50 credit voucher for the W.A.R. parts and car stock
2nd place - $30 credit voucher for the W.A.R. parts and car stock
3rd place - $20 credit voucher for the W.A.R. parts and car stock

• Race 2 - 8 August 2024 - 7pm - CRAIG LOWNDES TRACK
• Race 3 - 15 August 2024 - 7pm - ALLAN MOFFAT TRACK
• Race 4 - 22 August 2024 - 7pm - ALLAN MOFFAT TRACK (RACE POSTPONED DUE TO TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES)
• Race 4 - 29 August 2024 - 7pm - ALLAN MOFFAT TRACK
• Race 5 - 5 September 2024 - 7pm - LARRY PERKINS TRACK
• Race 6 - 12 September 2024 - 7pm - LARRY PERKINS TRACK
• Race 7 - 19 September 2024 - 7pm - FPR TRACK
• Race 8 - 26 September 2024 - 7pm - FPR TRACK
• Race 9 - 3 October 2024 - 7pm - WAR TRACK
• Race 10 - 10 October 2024 - 7pm - WAR TRACK
