About this Event
Carolside Estate is a few miles south of Lauder in the Leader valley. At the heart of the estate is an 18th century stately home and formal garden with striking Delphinium beds and a walled garden of ancient roses. The estate owners are in the process of converting a conifer plantation to native, broadleaved woodland
On this visit we will be working in an area previously planted with native trees to prepare the ground for replacement planting where trees have failed ('beating up')
We encourage volunteers to use our minibus for transport. If you live near this task and wish to make your own way you must ring Debbie on 01313370223 to book a space and for joining instructions.
P lease bring your lunch and wear appropriate footwear (boots or wellingtons) and waterproof outdoor clothing.
You can check our website for further information and frequently asked questions.
