Caroline Rose façonne depuis plus d’une décennie une œuvre kaléidoscopique, entre psychobilly, folk, pop synthétique, shoegaze ou encore alt-country, avec un goût affirmé pour la mise en scène, les récits décalés et les personnages singuliers. De LONER à Superstar, chaque album révèle une nouvelle facette d’un univers singulier, à la fois grinçant, touchant et profondément cinématographique. En 2023, iel dévoile The Art of Forgetting, disque introspectif nommé aux Grammy Awards pour sa direction artistique. En 2025, Caroline Rose surprend à nouveau avec year of the slug, projet lo-fi publié uniquement sur Bandcamp, enregistré à même son téléphone dans GarageBand. Un retour à l’essentiel, brut et sans filtre, qui annonce une nouvelle tournée à travers l’Europe.

Caroline Rose creëert al meer dan een decennium een caleidoscopisch oeuvre, tussen psychobilly, folk, synthetische pop, shoegaze en alt-country, met een uitgesproken voorliefde voor enscenering, eigenzinnige verhalen en bijzondere personages. Van ‘LONER’ tot ‘Superstar’ onthult elk album een nieuw facet van een uniek universum, dat tegelijkertijd wrang, ontroerend en diep cinematografisch is.
In 2023 verscheen ‘The Art of Forgetting’, een introspectief album dat genomineerd werd voor een Grammy Award voor zijn artistieke leiding. Dit jaar verrast Caroline Rose opnieuw met ‘year of the slug’, een lo-fi-project dat alleen op Bandcamp is uitgebracht en dat ze zelf op haar telefoon heeft opgenomen in GarageBand. Een terugkeer naar de essentie, rauw en ongefilterd, en de perfecte aanleiding voor een nieuwe Europese tour.
