About this Event
Declared one of Rolling Stone’s “10 Country Artists You Need to Know” as “an
ambitious, entrepreneurial guitar heroine primed to bring back the pop-country
glory of the Nineties,” singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Caroline Jones
co-produced her new lead single “Come In (But Don’t Make Yourself
Comfortable)” off her forthcoming sophomore studio album with Grammy and
Academy Award-winning producer Ric Wake (Mariah Carey, Celine Dion,
Whitney Houston). The talented independent artist also wrote the lyrics to the
single, similar to her previous releases with the exception of “All of the Boys,” cowritten
with Zac Brown, and “Gulf Coast Girl,” written for her by Jimmy Buffett
and Mac McAnally.
In 2020, Caroline toured with country stars Sara Evans and Lee Brice, made her
return to the legendary Grand Ole Opry stage, and appeared in a moving virtual
concert as part of Global Citizen and the World Health Organization's "Together
At Home" Series. This followed an impressive 2019, during which Caroline toured
with Zac Brown Band for the third consecutive year, supported Kenny Chesney’s
21-date Songs for the Saints tour, joined an all-star female cast in support of
Trisha Yearwood’s Every Girl on Tour, and made her late night debut on The
Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Throughout 2018, Jones toured with Jimmy
Buffett & the Eagles, Zac Brown Band & OneRepublic, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill,
Vince Gill, and Kip Moore. Prior to that, she shared the stage with Jimmy Buffett,
Kenny Chesney, and Toby Keith at the Trying to Reason hurricane relief benefit
concert, which led to a charity single release with Buffett, a distribution deal with
his Mailboat Records, and ultimately the release of “Gulf Coast Girl (ft. Jimmy
Buffett, Kenny Chesney, Lukas Nelson and Mac McAnally as “The
Pelicanaires”)”.
When she is not on the road touring or in the studio, Caroline is also the host of
Sirius XM’s Art & Soul where she sits down with top singer-songwriters for
intimate acoustic performances and conversations about their craft and creating
the perfect song. Find out more here: https://carolinejones.com/
