Mark your calendar for two unforgettable days of music, culture, and Celtic celebration! We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Carolina Celtic Music Festival, coming to Fae Nectar on September 26th & 27th!
Taking the stage on the evening of Friday the 26th, Émigré will open the weekend with a powerful and poetic journey through the music of Ireland, Scotland, and the Celtic diaspora. Their richly layered sound—blending Scots-Gaelic ballads, Appalachian melodies, and dynamic fiddle tunes—makes them the perfect band to carry the first note of the festival.
Following their performance, join us for a classic Irish Session, led by members of Émigré! All musicians familiar with the tradition are welcome to bring their instruments and jump into the magic as our guests enjoy the layered sounds of the community making music together.

We had an incredible weekend last year, and we can’t wait to gather our friends from near and far to celebrate Celtic music and culture all over again! Join us in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains for a full weekend of merriment and mirth, with a rollicking evening on Friday the 26th, and a packed afternoon and evening performance schedule on Saturday the 27th, featuring returning favorites and new musical talent taking the stage in our gorgeous Great Hall.

Experience live performances from incredible regional artists (lineup and schedule announcements coming soon!), a vibrant Artisan Market filled with handcrafted treasures, soul-stirring Irish sessions where the community comes together to create memorable music, and we’ll all dance together during the fan-favorite Scottish Cèilidh as the sun sets behind the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Feast on delicious fare from our favorite Gaelic food trucks and our very own Tavern Kitchen, and raise a glass of Fae Nectar’s legendary mead as we celebrate the rich Celtic roots of Appalachia, and all the modern traditions inspired by them!
