About this Event
Florida is home to 31 native species of carnivorous plants, more than any other state. Join environmental specialist, Tommy Nordmann, on the Explore Volusia eco-buggy and discover some of the species found in Volusia County. Learn about the adaptations these plants have developed over time to survive in Florida’s ecosystems.
** Important note: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to complete a waiver. Waivers must be completed in full to participate in the program. Visit Explore Volusia to download and complete the waiver ahead of time.

TICKETS: No printed ticket is necessary.
AGES: All ages are welcome.

** Some of our trails have mud and/or standing water because they are located in wetland ecosystems and because of seasonal rains and high tides. Our leader will let you know the condition of the trails prior to the start of the tour.
WHAT TO BRING: water, sunscreen, and bug spray
FACILITIES: There is a port-a-let but no running water on site.

** Following the successful completion of your registration, you should receive a confirmation email, and two days prior to the program you will receive a reminder email. These emails are sent automatically by Eventbrite. If you do not receive them, please contact Tommy at the email address above.
