About this Event
This year, Italian Carnevale and the Lunar New Year — both celebrations that mark endings, beginnings, and the turning of the season — land on the same day.
Carnevale, the Italian celebration that precedes Lent, has been observed for centuries as a time of expression, indulgence, and letting go. In Venice, it is known for its masks, rich food, and the permission to step outside the everyday before a season of reflection begins.
The Lunar New Year is a celebration of renewal and momentum — a time to release what no longer belongs, invite good fortune, and step into the year ahead with intention and vitality.
Carnevale 2026: A Midwinter Celebration of Renewal & Possibility is a shared, sit-down, multi-course Italian-themed plated dinner for a small community gathering at one long table. We’ll don Venetian-style masks that invite play and expression, and engage in simple rituals placed throughout the space, creating opportunities to let go of the old and welcome the new.
Join us for a thoughtfully curated evening designed for people who value presence, reflection, and gathering with intention — a midwinter celebration of renewal, possibility, and being together.
