Introducing Carnaval de Barulho (The Carnival of Noise)! A free and vibrant musical showcase bringing together the local bands that have made our city's samba scene legendary.It’s Barulho’s 25th birthday, and we’ll be celebrating loudly and in style on Brighton’s iconic seafront on Saturday 7th June 2025!
For 25 years, the streets of Brighton have pulsed with the infectious rhythms of Barulho, one of our city's beloved community samba bands. We've turned traditional samba on its head, blending Afro-Cuban beats with funk, house, and drum & bass. From Burning the Clocks to Trans Pride, we've been at the heartbeat of Brighton's biggest celebrations.
Now, in 2025, we're creating something spectacular - Carnaval de Barulho!
To make the party all the more special, we'll be joined by these amazing bands from the local samba scene:
