Mara Halunga & Cauê De Marinis will bring the spirit of Brazilian CARNAVAL to Nais Space, together with the Venezuelan percussionist, Juan Negretti.
This unique event in Romania brings the authentic sound of Brazil, featuring the well-known rhythms of samba and other specific Carnival tunes. Brazilian Carnival, as a contest of samba schools, does not happen only in Rio de Janeiro, like we often see on TV, it is In São Paulo as well, on big venues called "sambodromo". More than a contest It's a celebration all over the country, in the street, with people dancing and singing together, dressed in colourful costumes, called "fantasias".
So, bring your "nais fantasia", or at least an accessory and come to Nais Carnaval! Who wears a costume will receive a shot of caipiroska at the entrance 🎭
Mara & Cauê are playing together since 2018. Cauê is from São Paulo and he played in various projects, touring all over Brazil and in over 30 countries of Europe. Mara is a sensitive Portuguese-language storyteller who has divided her life for the past 11 years between Bucharest and São Paulo, which has become her second home. She started singing there and discovered the pandeiro, a specific percussion instrument she often uses in concerts. The Venezuelan Juan Negretti, a true percussion wizard, adds a vibrant and original touch that transforms each song into a captivating sound universe, full of energy and emotion.
