The Friends of the Carlsbad Library is pleased to support Carlsbad Reads Together.Join us in the Ruby G. Schulman Auditorium to meet Julia Alvarez, the author of "The Cemetery of Untold Stories." The book follows Alma, a prolific author who, after retiring from her teaching job and writing career, inherits a plot of land in the Dominican Republic where she decides to create a cemetery for her unfinished manuscripts and notes.
Tickets for the event will be distributed beginning at 5 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.
