About this Event
Born in Argentina and living in New York since 2000 composer Carlos Pavan combines tango/folklore rhythms with jazz & classical concepts. He studied with maestros Jorge Morel, Dave Smey (Brooklyn Conservatory) and Pablo Ziegler (A. Piazzolla's pianist). Carlos has recorded four albums with his works including string quartet, chamber ensemble and trio concertante. The program includes a Suite inspired by Borges' book Ficciones.
