Carlisle Zine Fest is an event which celebrates self-publishing, art, inclusivity and zines! A space dedicated to the DIY ethos of zine culture, where people who create zines gather together to sell, trade, and showcase their work!
Throughout the afternoon you can browse the zines and artwork being sold, take part in zine workshops and meet a whole bunch of talented creatives and thinkers.
So what’s a zine? A zine is a DIY publication on any subject! They come in dozens of formats, sizes, styles and topics. Zines are usually handmade and self-published. They can be about anything you want: politics, your favourite media (fanzines), art, photography, writing and more!
Organised by Jess Autumn, supported by Queer Cumbria and founded in 2023 – we are very excited to support and host this amazing event!
