🌍 Over the past two decades, communities across Europe have been reclaiming vacant buildings and abandoned sites, transforming them into urban commons, cultural spaces, shelters, and places of care. These initiatives act as living laboratories, where care for people, communities, and the environment takes root in fragile yet inventive ways.

From Athens, Kamza, Marseille, BihaΔ‡, and Brussels, we showcase stories of reclaimed heritage buildings, refugee shelters, artist compounds, and rewilded brownfields.
