Carihi Theatre department has a reputation for amazing shows that delight audiences, and they had plans to perform a full musical this Spring, but the fire at Carihi has made that impossible.The smoke and water damage to the gym and stage has destroyed most of the costumes sets and props, as well as curtains, lighting and sound equipment and everything else needed to do a show or teach a class. They hope to get back into their theatre eventually, but until then, the Tidemark Theatre is generously hosting this Musical Theatre Showcase as a way to raise funds for next year’s show, and to start replacing some of the lost items.
Carihi Musical Theatre students will be performing many songs from well-known, well-loved shows…some they’ve done before, some they hope to do some day. It is sure to delight audiences.
Carihi Musical Theatre would like to thank the Tidemark Theatre and Rotary International for the support they have given them in this challenging time.
