Welcome to the first CaribScot Fest™ in central Edinburgh!
Sat 13th July 4pm to 10pm (with option to stay on for The Shanghai Club night until 1am included). The Basement (Shanghai Club), Le Monde Hotel, 16 George St, Edinburgh.
DJs are Ria (Edinburgh) and Melvina Moves (London) playing soca, reggae, dancehall, zouk and all things Caribbean. Live reggae, soca and dance performances. John Simmit, Jamaican British comedian, host and writer of Windrush: A Musical Journey will be our MC for the night.

4:30pm DJ Ria on the decks playing soca and dancehall
6pm Folk and contemporary Caribbean dance performances from Nzinga Dance Company
7:30pm Ablewell Foundation with a short Lovers' Roots Rock Reggae acoustic set
8pm Soca singer Scrappy will be livening things up
8:30pm Melvina Moves hits the decks with soca, reggae, dancehall, zouk. Bringing the Caribbean Carnival party vibes until closing time!
10pm End of event (with option to stay on for Shanghai Club night until 1pm)

The venue has 3 bars with a great range of rums.

Under 18s welcome until 8pm. Don't forget ear protectors for the wee ones!
