The Cargo Bike Picnic is back!Join us at Shorland Park in Island Bay on Sunday, February 23rd, from 12pm to 3pm. Bring your cargo bikes, ebikes, bike trailers, kids seats, tag-alongs, box bikes, swimsuits and more. It's a chance to get to know the other commuters and parents you've seen pedaling 1, 2 or 3 kids around Wellington by bike.
What’s Happening?
• 12-1pm: Meet at Shorland Park
• 1pm–3pm: BBQ and activities for the kids
Share your favourite life hacks for hauling kiddos, trade tips with curious families, and let your friends test out some demo cargo bikes. It’s all about fun, community, and a love of getting around by bike!
Rain Day: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll reschedule for Sunday, March 16.
