Do you look after someone in South Manchester?
Carers Manchester South, together with the Manchester Museum, are trying out a new event that, we hope, many of you would find interesting, fun and a chance to meet other carers.
Manchester Museum are really interested in how they can support carers to make the most out of a trip to the museum and are offering an afternoon of activity exploring some of the Museum’s collections, as well as learning how a museum really works in supporting its visitors and local communities.
You will even be able to undertake and learn about Conservation and collection care, as well as a sneak peek behind the scenes! We will even round off your visit with a cuppa!
The event will be held on Monday 20 September, 12pm - 3pm. The Museum is on Oxford Road, and you would need to make your own way to the museum, which is fully accessible.
Places are limited so If you are interested in taking part, then please get in touch at [email protected] or call Steve on 07494 097 568.
*Please note the museum is closed to the public until late 2022 but is still open for community events.
We look forward to hearing from you.
