The Medicare GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) Program is a nationwide initiative by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide comprehensive support for Medicare beneficiaries with dementia and their caregivers through coordinated services, caregiver education, and respite care, aiming to improve quality of life and delay nursing home placement by offering services like care navigation, 24/7 support, and caregiver training at no extra cost for participants.
