The second session of Caregiver Academy will begin April 22nd!At the end of the six-week program, participants will have all the required hours and training to become a Certified Home Care Aide. The instructors will help schedule the final exam that is done off-site. Upon successful completion of the exam, the Mustard Seed Project will reimburse participants for the exam fee.
Next, participants can choose to continue on to other programs/education elsewhere such as CNA training, etc. Or our instructors can help with starting a job search for caregiver positions. Or participants can decide to work independently as Certified Home Care Aides.
The spring session of the Caregiver Academy will be shorter days, 10am-2pm, which can accommodate individuals who may have children in school or other responsibilities.
