About this Event
"We will be focusing on storytelling and composition to make engaging objects in two and three dimensions. This month will be an opportunity for you to bring in previous artworks that you'd like to develop (or destroy!) into new collages and paper sculptures. This fun and freeing session will be full of summer energy. For newcomers, materials will be provided."
Penny's Carefree Collage workshops are friendly learning places suitable for all skill levels. You will make personal artworks to decorate your home and give away. We are always working to develop our sensory expresssion and connection with the material.
Photographer and artist, Penny Lutoslawska, trained at Goldsmith's College of Art. She is a creative and practical tutor with long experience in community and educational settings. She is gifted at encouraging others to be creative and reach their artistic potential.
Class structure: Penny will demonstrate the techniques and materials, followed by hands-on making time with individual guidance. There will also be group sharing and reflection time because we learn so much from looking at and talking about our work. There are no strangers here, only friends you’ve yet to meet!
All art materials are provided.
Access and facilities: Bicycle parking in the church car park. Disabled access and toilets at The Old School and car parking adjacent. Car parking also available on Stretten Avenue. You may like to bring an apron and a bag.
