The School of Environmental and Animal Sciences invites you to attend a careers information day at Unitec, Mt Albert Campus, Carrington Road, on 24 September 2024 from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. The school offers a wide-range of animal and environmental programs from Certificate to Postgraduate level (NZQA Level 3 – Level 9). The day will include presentations by teaching staff providing details of the programs on offer, entry requirements, and potential employment opportunities. These will be interspersed with tours to our school facilities that support teaching and learning and demonstration and showcasing of practical skills that students learn. We will also provide a brief overview of some of the staff and student research that, in part, informs teaching at the higher-level programs.

Animal Care (Certificate)
Canine Behaviour and Training (Certificate)
Zookeeping (Certificate)
Veterinary Nursing (Certificate, Diploma and Undergraduate degree)
Animal Behaviour, Management and Welfare (Bachelor of Applied Science)
Biodiversity Management and Conservation Biology (Bachelor of Applied Science, Postgraduate Certificate, Post Graduate Diploma and Masters of Applied Science)
