KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Ronald Weaver
Ron Weaver, long considered a Tampa icon and the king of networking, has been one of Florida’s most respected land use and real estate attorneys. Over an almost 50-year career, Ron has guided the acquisition and development of more than $6 billion in Florida properties, shaping Tampa’s skyline and contributing to major projects including regional malls, downtown high-rises, industrial parks, and large-scale communities. A Harvard Law School graduate and founding partner of Stearns Weaver Miller, Ron recently retired after having grown the Tampa office from two attorneys to over fifty, establishing one of Florida’s leading land development, zoning, and environmental law practices.
Ron has been recognized among Florida Trend’s 500 Most Influential Business Leaders, inducted into the Tampa Bay Real Estate Hall of Fame, and named “Tampa Lawyer of the Year” six times by The Best Lawyers in America. His biography is permanently displayed at the Tampa Bay History Center, honoring his profound impact on law, business, and the Tampa Bay community.
Renowned for his civic and philanthropic leadership, Ron founded Career Rebound (formerly Real Estate Lives), a nonprofit that has helped thousands of professionals rebuild their careers. His extensive community service includes leadership roles with the American Heart Association, Junior Achievement, BayCare Health System, and the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, to name just a few.

Feel free to invite someone who may be in a job search or career transition, or who wants to be part of a wonderful group that loves to help others!
Career Rebound is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer-operated organization that aims to help unemployed and underemployed professionals (“Rebounders”) find a new position or career.
