We have 3 guest speakers from varied HR roles, who will share how they started their career in HR and have grown in it and with it through their career journey.
There will be a Q&A session at the end, so you can ask any questions that could help you start or build your career.
We will also have information available on the day about the support CIPD can give you in your career, and how to upgrade your membership.

Ciprian Arhire Chartered FCIPD
A global HR Leader who has been in HR for close to 2 decades, Ciprian is HR Magazine’s 16th most influential HR practitioner of 2022.
Group Head of People Experience and HR Transformation for Entain Group, a FTSE40 organisation that is one of the world’s largest sports betting and gaming groups.
Founder and Chair for the CIPD Fellows and Senior People Professionals Network in London.
Founders of CIPD's LGBT+ Network, the first-ever employee network group at the CIPD as well as chairing the network for its first 4 years while feeding directly into the organisational people and D&I strategy.
Ciprian has a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development and Consulting from University of London, and is currently undertaking an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
Nicky Buckley Chartered MCIPD
Founder and HR Consultant for East Midlands HR, branching out as an independent HR Consultant in 2019.
With over 17 years of experience across both public and private sectors, including retail, logistics, food production, and SMEs, Nicky brings extensive HR expertise focused on creating productive workplaces. A Chartered Member of the CIPD, Nicky has provided strategic support to managers, directors, and business owners on complex issues such as disciplinary matters, grievances, absence management, and performance improvement.

People Partner. Passionate about making a difference through people and driving innovation and service excellence. 14 years’ experience in UK and global people operations and strategy.
