In this session of the Career Finders Club series, Kathy Fanning, a Career Coach with the NYPL will assist you in enhancing your interview skills and increase chances of winning the “interviewing game.”
Based on her over 15 years of experience in the field, she will discuss how to prepare for the interview so you are able to smoothly answer a variety of questions, such as:
-Why did you leave your last position?
-What are your biggest strengths/weaknesses?
-Tell me about yourself?
- Why do you feel you are the best candidate for this position?
About the Presenter:
Kathy Fanning is a recognized leader in the field of career Planning and Professional development. She possesses over 15 years of experience in counseling individuals from both the Public as well as the Private sector. She has successfully managed the job search life- cycle from junior staff to senior-level management.
Her career transition experience also includes managing off site career centers for both outplacement agencies as well as in-house corporate centers.
She is currently a Career Coach at the NYPL where she has successfully coached hundreds of patrons, enabling them to make successful transitions into new careers.
