I’ve worked within the floral industry for many years, over 30 in fact! Within that time, I’ve seen profound changes in all areas of floristry, design styles (they come and go and come back again) sustainable approaches, and more recently flower sourcing. Hurrah for British blooms!As a teacher, I love nothing more than to pass on my skills and knowledge. I’ve delivered courses at all levels, from a leisurely wreath workshop to a commercial brief within L3 accreditations. As an independent training provider, I’ve created a career course that fits the current trends within floristry.
Each Module will cover a different area of floristry .There will be hands-on creativity, discussions around the theory of floristry as well as Q&A opportunities.
Designs will of course be sustainable and use seasonal flowers where possible.
All flowers, containers, tools, and worksheets are provided.
Sessions will be delivered in my home studio on Friday mornings, from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm, starting in September.
