Are you raising a child as a result of parental substance misuse? Register today for a free two-part workshop to be held on Tuesday, December 3, and Tuesday, December 10, from 5-7:30pm, at Covenant Harbor in Lake Geneva.Topics covered on 12/3 will include foundations of addiction, compassion & boundaries, ACEs & behavioral changes, and nervous system regulation. Topics covered on 12/10 will include forgiveness, co-dependency, and recovering from addiction. Each topic will be presented by an expert speaker!
CARE is open to grandparents, relatives, foster/adoptive parents, neighbors, friends, and other non-biological parental caregivers.
Each date includes free on-site childcare and a light dinner, as well as resource materials. Parking at Covenant Harbor is free!
If you are unable to make the December dates, an earlier session will be held on Tuesday, Oct 22, and Tuesday, Oct 29.
