Please join us in an Open Mic Night at Pomona Valley Pride!
Open mic nights encourage people to get out there and express themselves through their words. Participants can play music, recite poems or even tell stories.
An Open Mic event can give the community the chance to make their voice heard and celebrate their heritage; solo or in groups, in whatever style they choose: whether reciting a poem or doing a rap, presenting a photo story or performing a theatrical sketch.
Open mics also provide an opportunity for emerging musicians to gain experience performing to a live audience. They provide an outlet for singer-songwriters.
