Care Experienced Futures: Leeds Employer Workshop

As part of National Care Leavers Month, we’re delighted to invite you to an

interactive workshop to explore how employers in Leeds can support care

experienced young people across the city.

Leeds City Council has listened to the voices of over 80,000 children and

young people to shape 12 Wishes - our core priorities for the city that

guide our work. Wish 11 focuses on improving access to work experience

and employment opportunities, and we’re calling on local employers to

work with us.

Hosted in partnership with Lloyds Banking Group, this session will:

• Explore the challenges facing care experienced young people.
• Present local businesses already making a difference.
• Share Council initiatives that can support your business to get involved.
• Showcase Madlug, a bag brand that gives dignity to children in care, and chance to visit their pop-up shop.
