On Sunday 22nd September we are calling for individuals, families, friends, communities, organisations and leaders to participate in #CardiganPride.Cardigan Pride is a show of solidarity with older women and a call for older women to be proud of who they are.
It recognises the valuable contributions older women make in families, services and communities - and the importance of combating the disrespect and inequalities older women face.
We are thrilled to announce our Cardigan Pride Picnic in the beautiful gardens of Como House, South Yarra.
Special thanks to The National Trust for hosting this important event.
Bring the whole family, BYO picnic, RSVP below and make sure you wear a cardigan.

Dress code: cardigan
Bring: people you love and a picnic (please note there is no longer a cafe at Como House)

The #CardiganPride event is being hosted for the Embolden2024 Festival to raise awareness of the urgent need for culture change.
CardiganPride is an initiative of Celebrate Ageing Ltd, curated for the #Embolden2024 Festival. The 2024 campaign is a partnership with Suzanne Phoenix and is supported by Elder Rights Advocacy, the Older Women's Network NSW and ADA Australia.
