Cardiff University Social Services - A legacy of Community Activism

Join us in the Glamorgan Building Committee Rooms as we launch a new exhibition of student-led work celebrating the legacy of social work and community activism at Cardiff University. This event will showcase research into the history of the Cardiff University Social Services, highlighting its unique role in fostering community partnership and activism around providing care and social support for people with learning disabilities. Light lunch will be provided. Free to register.

The event has been sponsored by the School of Social Sciences Disability Equality Committee which works to ensure disabilities equality for all those involved with the school and promote the rights of those with disabilities.
