We'll be meeting again to share stories and songs. This Storytelling Circle will be dedicated to the memory of our dear friend, Elinor Kapp, who passed peacefully on Saturday 16th August. All the stories and songs that we share in this Circle will be dedicated to Elinor. If you knew Elinor and would like to share a story that connects you to her, we'd love to hear it. If you didn't know her, she would have loved to meet you and hear your story, so please bring it and share it. As ever, listeners are warmly welcome.
Elinor was a remarkable and inspiring woman. Amongst many other things, she was a psychiatrist, an embroiderer, a writer and a storyteller. She was knowledgeable and curious about people and the world, deeply generous and wonderfully creative. She played a key role in building and keeping the Cardiff Storytelling Circle going, and was a regular member of our Circle for many years.
We ask for cash contributions on the door to help cover the room costs (£5 if you can). Any donations beyond that will be given to Cardiff City Hospice, a charity that Elinor contributed to for many years and which was very close to her heart.
