Cardiff Dub Club family, this one is a big forward for the new year. The session has outgrown the cosy corners of Bar 105 in Cathays, and now steps into the heart of the city with more space, more bass, and a later licence. Much love and respect to Bar 105 for holding the vibes over the last year; every session there helped build the energy that now takes us to the next level for 2026!
Now Cardiff Dub Club lands at Underdog, Guildhall Place, Cardiff, with a heavier setup and a proper downtown dancehall feel. Two full soundsystems in one venue, playing back-to-back all night in true roots and dub tradition. Two sounds stringing up and playing one after the other, each pushing the vibes higher. For lovers of soundsystem culture and heavy basslines, this is exactly how a session should feel: speakers shaking, lights low, and the crowd locked into the drum and bassline from 9pm til 2am.
Representing West Wales is One Man Army Sound System, Bristol born and bred, carrying the spirit of St Paul’s Carnival and a decade of stringing up speakers and shaking dances. From walking the streets among towering stacks to building and running his own, One Man Army brings a conscious selection of the finest roots and steppas, dubplates galore, and strictly upliftment in the highest degree. Expect rare cuts, custom mixes, and exclusive versions designed to move both body and spirit, delivered with that authentic West Country meets West Wales energy.
Flying the flag for South Wales is Erb'An Dub Sound System, rolling in with their full rig, full crew of selectas and DJs, and a reputation for serious pressure in the dance. Known for pure vibes, carefully crafted journeys through roots, dub and steppas, and a dedication to clean, powerful sound, Erb'Aan Dub specialise in that perfect balance of meditative roots and heavyweight steppas. With resident selectors plus special guest DJs passing through to bless the controls, you can expect vocal roots, UK dub classics, brand new productions, and version after version mixed live straight through the night.
This is the first Cardiff Dub Club of 2026, and the perfect time to lock in your place early. Advance tickets are strongly recommended; more space, more bass, and more people reaching means entry is not guaranteed at the door.
