Welcome to the Cardiac Connection-Benefits of Acupuncture event! Join us on Wed Aug 20, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Heart Wellness Center. Acupuncture is a traditional medicine technique that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to relieve pain and promote healing. Did you also know that it improves cardiovascular health by promoting blood circulation, reducing stress, and improving heart rate variability? Come join us and guest presenter, Dawn Garrison, with Carolina Family Acupuncture!
Cardiac Connection is a monthly community group that supports people of all ages who have experienced a cardiovascular event such as a heart attack or stroke, had surgery related to the heart or are at risk for heart disease. Relevant topics and speakers vary each month. Bring your lunch and a friend!
In addition, we offer encouragement and lifestyle improvement activities. You may also connect with others who have had similar experiences. If you or a loved one are interested, please join us.
