Join us for a fun and exciting Cardboard Boat Race! Here’s what you need to know:- Check-in starts at: 8:30am
- Building Begins at 10 am
- Building Ends at 12 pm
- Races begin at 12:30 pm
Location:
- Sunnyvale Park
Who Can Participate-
Open to all ages. Teams can consist of 1 to as many as you can fit in your boat.
Materials Provided:
- Corrugated cardboard
- Duct tape
- Paint (for decoration)
- Glue
Rules:
1. Boats must be made entirely of cardboard and duct tape.
2. Each team will be provided with PVC to build paddles for their teams.
3. Participants must wear life jackets during the race.
4. Boats must carry at least one person.

- Fastest Boat
- Most Creative Design
- Best Team Spirit
- Titanic Award (Most Spectacular Sinking)
Additional Information:
- Waivers must be signed by all participants before the race.
- All materials are provided. You cannot bring your materials to build the boat. The only materials you can add to your boat are props that do not help your boat float or move.
- Spectators are welcome!
