Carbon Management

This course will provide delegates with an understanding of the construction industry requirements in relation to carbon management/sustainability and the current and emerging trends in this area, including the benefits of carbon management in retrofitting. The session will focus on ensuring that delegates have a practical understanding of these topics and how they can comply with legal and tender requirements in these areas. Delegates will then be in a position to plan how their business can best address these obligations as legislative and tender requirements tighten in this area.

This course is aimed at the following people:

· SHEQ personnel who may be new to this area and are looking to find out more about the area of sustainable construction and retrofitting.

· Senior management needing to understand what direction the company needs to go in, or what their obligations are in this area.

Trainer Overview:

Stephanie Singer – Director of Environmental and Technical Services at Quadra Limited with 15 years of experience as an Environmental and Energy Consultant. She provides professional, practical and impartial advice to organisations to enable them to understand energy efficiency, carbon management and sustainable practices and the steps they need to take to meet legal and tender requirements.

Stephanie has considerable experience in energy management in the construction industry, including the implementation of standards such as ISO 50001 and has delivered training and awareness sessions on energy management and carbon foot-printing to many clients.
