CARA’s largest fundraiser of the year at our NEW LOCATION, LeFleur's Bluff State Park @ Mayes Lake off Lakeland Drive in Jackson MS. The event is for the entire family and your pups and will include delicious grilled chicken, hamburger, and hot dog box lunches ($5) ; Pizza Slices ($5); a variety of desserts (2/$5), Children’s Carnival ($5) which includes tons of activities (such as free Blue Bell Ice Cream cups, Petting Zoo, Face Painting, Building projects, fun games and blow-up obstacle course and more); Madison-Rankin Co. K-9 Unit Demonstrations; Pet Parade & Pet Contest; Blessing of the Animals Ceremony; Huge Silent Auction; Event T-Shirts ($25); Adoptable CARA Dogs and much more!! The CARA Staff will also be offering microchipping for your pet ($15). Entertainment will be provided by Blind Dog Otis and Jason McIlwaine, Sound/Acoustics.
