About this Event
Welcome to Carabiner Crochet- a new group for needlework and and textiles for queer women, non-binary and trans folk!
Join our second social on Saturday 8th November 12pm-4pm at the Tram Depot where will be speed-friending! This means throughout the afternoon we will have 'alarms' set to encoruage people to switch seats/tables to allow for a chance to meet everyone attending!
Please bring your own craft to do, you can buy drinks and snacks from The Tram Depot bar. We hope that everyone can make some new friends and share ideas and knowledge on what they're making.
The Tram Depot is fully wheelchair accessible and we hope that we can create a sensory friendly space in the side room they are providing for us. Please do bring along any accessiblity tools that will help you enjoy our session. You can also email us at [email protected] and we can answer any questions you have!
Nearest parking is Adam and Eve Street but it can be difficult to get a space. Otherwise the Grafton East multistory car park is a 6 minute walk from The Tram Depot. The venue is also an 11 minute walk from Cambridge Bus Station and a 20 minute walk from Cambridge Railway Station.
