The Signal Mountain Police and Fire Departments, along with Safe Journey will be hosting a Car Seat Safety Check.
This event will kick-off the National Child Passenger Safety Awareness Week, which is September 21st through the 27th. The week focuses on the proper use of car safety seats for children. The National campaign urges parents and caregivers to protect their child by making sure they secure them in the correct car seat for their age, height and weight.
Both the Signal Mountain Police and Fire Departments will have certified child passenger safety technicians on hand to help you properly install and instruct in the use of child safety seats and boosters. All you need to bring is your child and your current car seat. Stop by and take advantage of this service!
