Port Moody’s Car-Free Day is back! Join us on St. Johns Street, between Queens and Moody streets, from 12 noon to 5pm on Sunday, August 18, 2024. This huge street celebration is filled with local businesses, musicians, green transportation displays, delicious food, and a family-friendly activities. Members of the public are encouraged to leave their car at home, and walk, bike, or take public transit to the celebration.Car-free days take place across the country and aim to inspire people to get out of their cars, interact with each other, and explore alternative modes of transportation. The City of Port Moody would like to thank our 2024 Car-Free Day partners, TransLink and Tri-City News.
