Capturing the Autumn LandscapeThis workshop for artists of all skill levels will focus on painting or drawing landscapes inspired by the colorful autumn season, whether you wish to paint (or draw) a realistic rendition, or create an abstraction based on autumnal elements and colors. All approaches are welcome! Participants must provide their own materials and reference photos (if used) and be prepared to complete a finished artwork of at least 12 x 16 inches. Students may work in any color drawing or painting medium including, but not limited to, colored pencil, pastel, watercolor, acrylic, gouache, egg tempera, oils, or even collage. NOTE: For this workshop, you will also need an extra surface (paper or canvas panel) for preliminary color exercises.
